Corner! Memoirs of the Service Industry
A podcast set out to document the lives and stories of those who call Bars and Restaurants their home. Corner podcast sets out to be an oral history of the lives of service and hospitality workers. This interview style podcast will feature one guest every episode. We will be sharing stories from the front line of the service industry. The goal of the podcast is to document the stories that made up the industry over the last couple decades. Over the last 15 years, the service industry has reached new heights and has become even more important to the fabric of our culture and lives. I believe now is the perfect time to start documenting how it all came together through the stories of those who lived it because I fear the industry is forever changed. Due to Covid-19, our industry has suffered a blow. The fine details in customer service and guest experience has shifted to concerns of the safety of the guests and employees. We can no longer do the job the way it's been traditionally done for years and we may never get to do it the same again.
